Legacy City Church
Leadership Team
Scott & Tammy Alcorn
Senior Leaders of Legacy City Church Bremerton, WA.
"When you find your people (your tribe) you find your purpose" (Kris Vallaton).
It is our desire to help you find a church family where you feel you belong.
We welcome all inquiries about our relationships with networks and other churches for discovering our history as well as accountability.
We are a "non denominational" church yet not independent. We lean deeply into relationships outside of Legacy City Church, leaders who know us and regularly speak into our lives.
Our history is with the Foursquare denomination, NCMI & New Frontiers (international networks of churches and leaders). Over the last several years we have found our strongest relationships & input from leaders and friends connected to Bethel Church in Redding, CA.
Our Beginning
The call to plant Legacy City Church
After many years of being trained and equipped by Church leaders & growing in Church Planting Ministries (NCMI, New Frontiers & Acts29 Network), Scott and Tammy found themselves searching for clarity and direction from God for their next season.
After a time of tapping into Bethel Church, Redding CA. "online" and signing up for online schooling to continue learning and growing, they decided to have an "in-person" opportunity by attending a conference where Bethel "BSSM" students were ministering alongside a Bethel leader.
This was Scott and Tammy's first major encounter experiencing the prophetic. After being called out from the crowd and prophesied over, a student later approached them saying, "I hear the Lord say that you are here for clarity, direction and you are to go plant that Church"!
That was the first prophetic word that ignited the call and confirmed what they had carried for years in their hearts but needed to hear His voice for clarity to move forward with it.
After a season of living room church, then launching into a public space, then dealing with the Covid pandemic and losing their public space it was time to seek the Lord for fresh direction.
In March of 2021 Legacy City Church was re-launched in a public space after the Alcorn's attended a wonderful prophetic conference and getting confirmation to move forward!
